Why Pilates

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s, the Pilates method uses a whole-body approach to gaining strength and improving function by accessing your deepest core muscles. The exercises focus on alignment, precision and flow as a foundation for building strength and flexibility throughout the body. Pilates helps control the body through all ranges of motion and is very joint-friendly when performed correctly.
